For each match, two players confront a picture of their choice. Winners of first round matches confront themselves in the second round, eventually reaching semi-finals and possibly the great final.

Come One, Come All!

Hey all,
Welcome to the new blog for the group MatchPoint. This is your friendly admin mainfr4me, one of the newest on the team. From here, what we hope to do is have an easy, friendly way to share what's going on in the group to your friends and family, give you a spot to go when your corporate firewall says no to your artist urges and you just have to know whats going on, or you have no idea what I'm talking about and just blindly followed a link from Google.

If you're any of the first two, then great! Welcome!
If you're the third, well, welcome too, but we're going to look at you funny until we get used to your non-Flickrian accent. Weirdos.

So, if you're new to this, the purpose of this is to follow what's going on in a group based off of Flickr, a site made for sharing pictures and photos, and for people to connect and learn and share and have a good time. This particular group is meant to make a friendly competition where each match is one on one tournament style, and is voted on by other group members. We encourage everyone from every skill level to come and join, and have fun and learn. Do be aware that the competition is fairly fast paced, so please make sure you can check in consistently to the group and be ready to post new images each round.

Anyways, myself and other admins from the group will be posting information here shortly. I'm going to start by going back into the older matches and posting the results from those, and doing my best to keep up with current matches and sign ups going on.

So rock on you crazy camera people!
